Hello everyone!
I was thinking of purchasing a Ghatam, or an Udu (or perhaps both?) to better understand my hang and have some fun in the process..
does anyone know of any good places to purchase these items? i am in the UK.

But it is hard to spend this money without first hearing the instrument or feeling it with my hands so was wondering if anybody has any experience or reccomendations?

Hey dude... If I were buying in the UK then JAS would be my first point of call... they're reasonable and would definately have a variety to choose from.

Mate of mine just got a set of Tabla from them and they're mint! lovely set, however he did have a professional source them for him, on his reccomendation the guys in store would sell you a good instrument, but it may not neccessarily be the best if you don't know what you're looking for.... like most places I think.
