It's been a while since I've seen a YouTube vid of Liron:

Hi,

this is very fast playing. I like the scale of the Hang. Does anybody know the name of the scale?

Greetings
Frank

I see in the Key-words for the vid the word "Persian" this could be a persian scale maybe the Hitzazkiar ...
He is playing much better that in his last vid... that's actually perfect in my opinion.. really fast but everything sounds like "it should".

P.S. thanks for putting this up here. There's another vid of him in the same TV program where the girl that sits on his right also sings a bit. It's nice too.

greets
Sérgio

@ funky - the scale has no name.. it is a new generation hang.

sweet playing by liron... if a bit hard at times.

(my playing 'volume' and 'punishing hang technique' is reducing as i learn how to control more)

:P

Nice playing, definitely, but I was distracted by how out of tune his Hang is.

Is it just me?

Let me up that from "nice" to "fantastic" playing :).

But I am surprised he hasn't had his Hang tuned up to match his technique!

Nice performance that starts off sounding like he's going to "Boldly go where no man has gone before..."
